Diego Seitz, Founding Partner of Alfred, is interviewed by Switzerland's premier Startup Podcast "Swisspreneur"

Before starting Alfred with Thierry Barbey, Diego was co-founder and CEO at GotCourts, a social network for racket sports players and marketplace for booking courts and coaches. Founded in 2013, GotCourts was the first platform to provide everything a player needs in a single marketplace. 9 years later it was acquired by its Spanish competitor, PLAYTOMIC. In the interview Diego talks about the hard road to the exit, lessons learned and his plans for the future.

Topics covered:

  • All about Diego's time at Namics

  • How the Padel Tennis boom happened

  • How GotCourts built traction outside Switzerland

  • Why they got acquired by a competitor
