We are pleased to announce that Dorian Ebneter has joined Alfred as a Finance Specialist in our Business Consulting team. Dorian brings a rare combination of finance, operations, venture advisory, and hands-on scale-up experience, making him a strong partner for founders and management teams navigating growth, fundraising, and value creation.

With a background spanning startup valuation, fundraising, investor advisory, financial modeling, and operational leadership, Dorian adds further depth to Alfred’s work with ambitious companies across the Swiss startup and growth ecosystem.

Background & Expertise

Dorian started his career close to the Swiss startup and investor landscape, where he worked with founders, corporates, and investors on valuation, fundraising, due diligence, and deal assessment. He led the BV4 team in supporting venture cases from both sides of the table, helping startups prepare for funding while also advising investors in their evaluation and decision-making processes.

He later moved into operational leadership, taking on CFO and COO roles in a digital-first brand group and several D2C companies. In these roles, he helped build the financial and operational foundations needed for scalable growth, including budgeting, liquidity planning, controlling, procurement, and revenue operations.

This mix of advisory and operator experience gives Dorian a practical view of what drives value in a company. He understands the numbers, as well as the systems, processes, and commercial decisions behind them.

At In his role at Alfred, Dorian will support clients across finance, operations, and growth topics, with a particular focus on helping companies build stronger financial foundations and make better strategic decisions.

At Alfred, Dorian will:

• Support Funding Strategy: Help founders prepare for financing rounds with a clear story, robust financials, and investor-ready materials.

• Build Financial Models: Create practical, decision-useful models for fundraising, planning, budgeting, and scenario analysis.

• Advise on Valuation: Support startups, investors, and management teams with valuation work grounded in both market logic and financial fundamentals.

• Strengthen Finance Operations: Help companies improve budgeting, liquidity planning, controlling, procurement, and reporting structures.
